FruitDealer needs no introduction, and Zenio and mvp have both looked dominating at times. oGsjookTo is clearly the odd man out, but with each player generally playing each other just once (unless tiebreakers are needed) there's plenty of opportunity for even the worst player (and using GomTV's rankings jookTo is the worst player in Code S) to upset the best (again, by their stats that would be FruitDealer).
As discussed yesterday, the structure for the round of 32 is single game round robin where you advance with two wins and are eliminated with two losses. GomTV puts all the group's action into one VOD though you can skip between games.

FruitDealer tries to reposition the spine crawler, but the marines shoot it down while it is re-burrowing
Now FruitDealer is virtually helpless. The marines pick off an overlord and then annihilate the drones when they come to try to surround.

Not the epic game we were hoping for from these two excellent players. Slight tactical error by FruitDealer in his spine crawler placement, but you wonder if going hatch first in what turned out to be such close positions was a good idea.

The big upset is FruitDealer, GSL 1 champion and overall points leader, finishing third, but frankly while FruitDealer is obviously very good he's not invincible and mvp and Zenio have been quite strong in the past. Despite their far lower rankings in Code S, the fact that either of them advanced is not a shock, though both of them going through is a bit of a surprise. jookTo at least looked about what you'd expect: not bad, but clearly overmatched.
